My name is Amanda Dodson, and I have been a Montessori teacher for the last twenty-one years. I am passionate about early childhood education, and I believe all children should have the opportunity to obtain the highest quality of education. To foster a love of learning, a child's first experience with school must be positive. I want all children to have a passion for life and everything around them. 

 

I hold a BA in child development, an MA in education, a Montessori teaching credential for ages 3-6, and am a certified Positive Discipline coach for parents and early childhood educators.

 

I am the mother of three beautiful children and understand the difficulties of parenting. After working with children my whole life, I was under the impression that parenting would be a piece of cake for me. Boy, was I wrong! All I can say is that I wish I had been introduced to the Positive Discipline philosophy when I first became a parent.
